Corporate History

Productive Security was founded in 1997 by Sanjay Rupani, a respected visionary and Canadian businessman, who started the company after years managing numerous executive and operational roles within the security industry. In these formative years, the groundwork of our steadfast philosophy was established by capable security veterans with a desire to improve the way security was handled by organizations. During this time, the company amassed a small list of clients that firmly believed in our 'partnership for security' approach. The company was built on a perception that an opportunity existed in the market for highly trained, highly motivated security professionals, who would provide a high level of service at competitive rates. Today that perception has become a reality. Over time, Productive Security's client base grew much larger, fueled by this incomparable philosophy. Sadly, Productive Security's founder, Sanjay Rupani, passed away in 2010.

Mr. Rupani's legacy, and his vision for the company, still lives on at Productive Security and our philosophy resonates even stronger today, supported by our highly skilled and dedicated employees, and by our growing list of prominent customers. What started as a small security company of less than a handful of employees is now one of the most successful security companies in Ontario. Our Corporate head office is located in Toronto, ON, and we presently employ over 120 service-driven, response-oriented individuals that are motivated and professional. Quality service and high standards are just two of many important values that drive our success. Our commitment to organizational excellence and customer focus, has fostered considerable loyalty with employees and clients alike, and separates us from the competition. We believe that quality should not be measured by price, and both protection and value uncompromised.
